Video interviewing just got available in Prescreen. This new feature not only supports you when on-site interviews are not possible, but also helps you optimize your application process. Forget about switching between the tools and copy pasting video call links – with this new feature, you’ve got everything at one place to plan, schedule and hold video interview within Prescreen with no additional 3rd party tools required. Video interviewing tools are available free of charge.

Prescreen offers two different video recruiting options that you can integrate into your application and screening processes:

  • Active Video Interviewing:
    Schedule video interviews and conduct them easily from within the Prescreen app. The video call tool is self-hosted by Prescreen and therefore secure and flexible. There is no need to switch to third-party providers. You can easily invite your candidates to interviews using a new message placeholder.
  • Passive Video Interviewing:
    In addition to video calls, you can also integrate video answers into your application process. Optimize your screening process and get a better picture of your candidates with video responses. These can be submitted either in the application process or as part of a questionnaire. Candidates can answer the custom video question with an uploaded video or record a video using the camera of their laptop or mobile phone. You can find the videos in your candidate profile under “custom questions”.
